Danish Interior Academy was founded by Sisse Bach and Louise Bennedsen – two passionate interior professionals with unique yet complementary backgrounds. Their shared vision? To create a top-tier interior design education rooted in real-world experience, creativity, and professional excellence.

Sisse Bach

Interior Architect | Trained Decorator | Sustainable Design Expert

Sisse brings a wealth of hands-on experience to the table. As an interior architect and self-employed furniture seller, she has spent years immersed in the world of interiors. She’s particularly passionate about sustainable building and design, and her work has been featured in publications like:

Her expertise ensures that the education is grounded in both aesthetic and environmentally conscious design principles.

Louise Bennedsen

Interior Architect | Educator | Digital Design Specialist

Louise holds a Professional Bachelor's degree in Education from UCN (2009) and is trained in interior architecture. Her skill set includes mastery of professional tools like Revit, SketchUp, and V-Ray, as well as training in graphic design and branding.

With over 10 years of teaching experience at VUC&HF and a strong background in educational material development (including content for FGU in 2019), Louise ensures the course is engaging, accessible, and pedagogically sound.

Over the years, Sisse and Louise have built one of Denmark’s most recognized programs for aspiring Interior Stylists. In collaboration with industry professionals and consultants, they created a practice-oriented and modern education that has already guided many students into successful careers.
